What We Choose to Face
Our world is so devoted to effort, to progress, to making things move, that we often forget the practice of receptivity. There is a deep power in leaning back, in allowing life to meet us where we are, in opening ourselves up to opportunity. When something refuses to unfold despite all our efforts, it may be an invitation to soften our grip. To turn our awareness toward what is already in motion. Toward all that already flows without resistance. Allowing ease to become part of the process. Reminding ourselves that things are allowed to feel easy, and that we are allowed to receive them with openness.
This week, bring your awareness to what is already flowing in your life. Where have you felt stuck, despite your greatest effort? In contrast, what has been feeling easy recently? In which ways can you let yourself soften into what is already in flow? As your focus shifts from what you have been trying to make happen toward what is naturally moving toward you, return to your innate capacity to receive. Reflect on the opportunities you have been seeking and trust that you can simply open yourself up to receive them. Life is allowed to feel easy. Sometimes all you have to do is remember that.
